"Ranch, Farm and Home '~ffeek Program The first two days of Ranch, Farm, and Home Week will be de- voted to the program of special groups such as the State 4-H Coun- cil, State Home Demonstration Council, State Crop Improvement Association, and other such groups. On Thursday and Friday of ]bmch, Farm and Home Week the session on Friday will feature a speaker from the National Safety Council, Mr. Maynard Coe. "Safe- ty Is Anybody's Business" is the title of his talk. Thursday is livestock day. Prom- inent speakers will be featured on the program on such subjects as Forage Poisoning, Some Trace Elements in Animal Nutrition, Sheep diseases, Halogerton and the Rawlins Wool Processing Plant. Arthur King will discuss his New i Zealand trip. The new meats laboratory instructor at the Uni- versity of Wyoming will give a meat cutting demonstration. Fri- day is Crops Day, with the folluw- ing subjects to be discussed by various speakers chosen from var- ious parts of the state for their knowledge and interest on the sub- ject on which they will speak. Subjects are: New Grasses and Legumes for Wyoming Ranchers and Farmers, Range Management, 1952 -- Grassland Improvement Year for Wyoming and New De- velopment in Weed Control. A Pan- el discussion will be on "Pasture and Meadow Improvement." Fol- lowing the discussion, a tour of the University of Wyoming cam- pus will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
