Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Bushnell,
and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bushnell
were Sunday guests at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kiser in the
Devils Tower community. They
were brief callers at the E. B.
Chatfield home during tim week.
Mr. and Mrs. Wyman Bushnell
were in town Thursday.
Mrs. Bill Bushnell has received
word from her son, Ray Potter, that
he has been promoted to Corporal
md has been transferred from Ft.
Bliss, Texas to Ft. Cronkhite at
San Francisco. She has also receiv-
ed word of the marriage of her
niece, Miss Pat Schouten, Feb. 9
in Denver.
The husband, whose name was
not learned, is in service and the
couple will live temporarily in
Tennessee. Pat is the daughter nf
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schouten,
former residents of this commun-
ity.
Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Joy and
children were Saturday supper
guests at the Sam Rice home. Mr.
and Mrs. Fritz Chatfield and
daughter were Sunday afternoon
visitors. Dr. Bob Baldwin aecom-
panied by Mrs. Baldwin was a pro-
fessional visitor during the day.
Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Chatfietd
were Sunday guests at the Marty
Osgard home. Mrs. Osgard and
Mrs. Chatfield attended church in
Spearfish in the morning. Dr. and
Mrs. R. I. Port were supper guests
at the Chatfield home one evening
during the week.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cummings
spent the week in Ekalaka, Mon-
tana and assisted in the care of
Mrs. Cummings' father, J. F. John-
son, who had been hospitalized
for some time. tie passed away on
Tuesday and Mr. and Mrs. Cum-
mings returned home Saturday.
Word has been received that
Francis Wells is again hospitalized
at Fitzsimmons near Denver as a
result of injury to his ankle while
skating.
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Habeek of
lhdett were Sunday dinner gues~::;
at the (?has. Chaffiehl home. Mr.
and Mrs. Buck Graham and family
of Mooreroft were Sunday supper
guests and Mrs. I,ester Graham
and daughter were Monday guests.
