Community Thursday, March 28, 2013 Obituaries Churches Linda Lee Clark and Sidney Oscar Clark Linda Lee Clark, age 71, of Pine Haven, Wyoming, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at the Close to Home Hospice House in Gillette, Wyoming. Linda was born in Imperial, Nebraska, on Au- gust 6, 1941, the daughter of Ivan and Olive (Wil- liams) Satchell. Linda lived in Imperial until the fifth grade, and then attended country school. She attended high school in Imperial while stay- ing with relatives during the week. Linda gradu- ated from Chase County High School in 1959 and then attended Cosmetology School in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and took the Wyoming and Nebraska Boards. She worked as a beautician from 1960- 1963. Linda met Sid Clark after he was discharged from the Marines in 1960 and the couple was married in 1963. After Sid became a Game Warden they lived in Laramie, Newcastle, Tensleep and Moor- croft. Linda and Sid lived in Moorcroft from 1971 to 1995 and then moved to Pine Haven after Sid retired in 1995. Linda worked as a Special Ed- ucation Secretary for twenty-five years in Crook County and retired in 2003. She enjoyed golfing, sewing, and crafts. Linda was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Keyhole Country Club, and Friends of the Library. Linda is survived by daughters, Vicki Clark of Morrill, Nebraska, Jodi Clark of Moorcroft, Wyo- ming, Jami Selfe of Moorcroft; brothers, Doug (Karen) Satchell of Billings, Montana, Bill (Jan) Satchell of Palermo; granddaughters, Courtney t and Colby Hemphill; great-grandsons, Tyson and Tayvin; her beloved poodle, Tuffie; and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by Sid, her husband of 50 years; both parents; both in-laws and a ne- ice. Sid was born May 16, 1939, in Cheyenne, Wyo- ming, the son of Fred and Kathleen (Oshea) Clark. He graduated from Cheyenne High School in 1957 and following graduation he joined the United States Marine Core. Sid served his country from 1957 until receiving an Honorable Discharge as a Lance Corporal from the U.S. Military in 1960. Af- ter leaving the military he met the love of his life, Linda SatcheU and the couple married on Febru- ary 17, 1963. Together with Linda and family, Sid lived in Laramie, Newcastle, Tensleep and Moor- croft, Wyoming before settling in Pine Haven after his retirement in 1995. Sid worked for Wyoming Game and Fish for thirty- five years and was a Game Warden for thirty-three of those years. After retiring from Wyoming Game and Fish he went to work for Fuller Construction. Sid was a member of the Elks, the Wyoming i Peace Officers Association, American Legion, VFW and the Keyhole Country Club. He enjoyed hunt- ing, fishing, playing golf, trapping, woodworking, and leatherworking. He also enjoyed working with animals and visiting with people. Sid is survived by daughters, Vicki Clark of Mor- rill, Nebraska, Jodi Clark of Moorcroft, Wyoming, Jami Selfe of Moorcroft; brother, Jim (Sheila} Clark of Cheyenne; sister, Sharon Brown of Cheyenne; granddaughters, Courtney and Colby HemphiU; and great-grandsons, Tyson and Tayvin. He was foUowed in death by his wife of fifty years, Linda, and was preceded in death by both par- ents. She graduated from Central High School in St. Paul in 1947 and graduated from the Uni- versity of Wyoming in 1951. She married Don Lee in Lara- mie, Wyoming, in August 1951. She lived in Laramie, St. Paul, Sanders, Arizona, Rock Springs, Medicine Bow, Wheat_land, Wamsutter, Lusk and in Sundance since 1966. She is survived by seven children, Edward Lee of Land- er, Wyoming, Shannon (Mark} Farrier of Tillamook, Oregon, Andrea (Del) Humphrey of Sundance, Richard (Casey) Lee of Liberty Lake, Wash- ington, Tammara (Joe) Price of ous nieces and nephews.
