Roger and Cberi Blakeman were droner guests of Margaret's on Sunday. Frank and Doramae Blakeman were visitors of Bud Humphrey who was transferred to Ft. Meade during the week. Bud is out of intensive e now and is doing a lot bettY}'.  On their way home from Ft. 'Mede, they visited with Margaret at her home. Sunday supper guests of Mar- garet's were Fuzz Foster and family from Sundance. Frank and Doramae visited with Mar- garet on Sunday afternoon also. Mary and Mel Shepperson enjoyed going to Newell on Sun- day to a sale that was advertis- ed. The rest of the time they have been busy at home. Visiting with Vi and Dick Courchine during the week was Rocky who is home for spring break and will go back on Mon- day. Len and Marg Wales, Kelly and Doug Carter were visitors over the weekend at Vi and Dick's. Hilma Saari went shopping in Spearfish on Sunday. Hilma was busy getting ready for Henry's birthday dinner on Monday morning making pies for him. Happy Birthday goes to Henry for March 26. Helen Metzel and Lori Wells took Dick to the hospital in Rapid City on Friday morning. Dick is going to have some tests made while there, Helen visited ,with Dick on Sunday at Rapid City. Happy Birthdy to Mike Hoyer for March 28 and to Eldon Hobbs for March 30. Happy Birthday to all of you. Maggi Ayer returned home last week after her trip to Arizona. She reports that she really had a good time. Vicki Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ryan, Aladdin, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Deborah, to David Armstrong, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Armstrong, Grand Island, Nebr. A June 9 wedding is planned. Both are currently attending the University of Wyoming, Debbie will graduate with a degree in exercise physiology while Dave is majoring in industrial education and is cousidering a minor iu special education. Debbie is the granddaughter of Louise Ryan, Belle Fourche, aud Emma Johnson, Spearfish. and Bryan Graham enjoyed going to Rapid City last Mon- day evening to have supper with Vicki's folks. Joan Farley was a brief visitor with friends at the Sand Creek Trading Post on Saturday after- noon. Zelma and Mike Hoyer were guests at Zelma's brother's home in Glenrock, Wyo., over the weekend. On their way home Sunday even- ing, they stopped in Gillette to visit with Zelma's brother. Dutch is now working in Gil- lette. Bill and Milly Berry attended the funeral of Bertha Queen last week in Sundance. Ellen Larive has been real busy in town at the flower shop. Doris Kohler enjoyed shopp- ing in Rapid City on Saturday. UW degree goes to Daniel Wilson A Sundance student was among the 566 University of Wyoming students receiving degrees at the completion of the 1989 fall semester. Daniel Scott Wilson received a BA degree from the Univer- sity. The Renaissance painter Raphael painted more than 0 pctums of the Medon. A father, very anxious to impress his young son, told him what a great shot he was. And to prove his point he took his boy out duck hunting with him one day. The ducks were scarce but finally one solitary duck flew overhead and the father took careful air and fired. The duck kept right on going.
