Sundance writer Page Lambert
won third place with her nonflc-
Uon story 'Tom Cats" in the 1994
Wyoming Writers Contest.
The award was announced June
4 at the annual Wyoming Writers
Conference in Sheridan. Lambert
Joins writers from Grand Junc-
tion, CO, Casper, Cheyenne,
Laramie, Chugwater, Jackson and
Big Horn in winning recognition
for her nonfiction writing.
More than 225 entries were con-
sldered In this year's writing con-
test that also included Judging for
adult and Juvenile fiction, tradi-
tional poetry and free verse.

Her father related the history of the
gavel and how many times It had
been used.
Junior Past Matron, Evelyn He-

herself and Brother Chester. Gifts
were presented to the Worthy Ma-
tron and Worthy Patron. Members
and guests came from South Da-
kota, Wyoming and Montana.
