athlete from Gillette placed second
in the 400 x 100 meter relay, rep-
resenting the county well and they
received may compliments on their
sportsmanship.
The team would like to thank the

unteering to help with the track
meet and the coaches, Bob Gray
and Sena Toews.

Beulah Beavers 4-H Club
The Beulah Beavers 4-H Club
met on June 2 at the Beulah
Community Building. Trey
Clarkson called the meeting to or-
der and Sadie Mischke was ap-
pointed acting secretary. Sadie
Mischke and Chris Ericsson led
the pledges. Members answered
roll call with their summer vaca-
tlon plans.
Sadie Mischke read the minutes
of the last 4-H meeting. Chris
Ericsson gave the treasurer's re-
port. Announcements were made
about 4-H camp, animal future
workshops and the fair. Betty Ha-
iar distributed 4-H papers.
The community pride project was
discussed. The meeting with the
commissioners was reviewed. The
4-H club will be holding a bake sale
and rummage sale at the Beulah
Community Building on June 25.
Donations for the sale will be wel-
comed from the community.
Members will set up for the sale on
June 22.
Horsemen schedule
county playdays
The Crook County Horseman's
Association has set up a schedule
for playdays. On Tuesday, June 28
they will be in Moorcroft and on
Tuesday, July 19, in Sundance.
For these playdays registration will
be at4 p.m. and the events start at
4:30.
On Saturday, August 13, they
will be in Hulett. For that playday
registration is at 12 noon and they
will start at I p.m.
There will be a potluck and awards
after the Hulett playday.
Concession stand
operator sought
by C.C. Horsemen
The Crook County Horseman's
Association is looking for a group
to run the concession at the Crook
County Fair Rodeo. They are in-
viting any youth group or organi-
zation that is interested to attend
their next meeting on June 22 at
the Lazy Y Steakhouse at 7:30
p.m.
The leader or head of the organi-
zation must attend the meeting to
discuss details.

Seven University of Wyoming
students from Crook County were
among 1,234 who received degrees
at the completion of the 1994 spring
semester.
Of the total, 976 received
bachelor's degrees, 169 master's
degrees, 62 Juris Doctor (law) de-
grees and 27 doctoral degrees.
