Mr. and Mrs. Willie Beard and children of Edgemont were visitors at the Vic French home. The Alva 4-H club had a bake sale at the Fleming store. Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. George O'Haver came over from Sundance to visit at the Merlin O'ttaver home. Fri- day Mr. O'Haver was taken to Belle Fourche hospital for a checkup. Supper guests at the Russell French home Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Willie Beard and children and Mr. and Mrs. Vic French. Darrell Stultz and girls arrived from Denver Sunday evening. The girls will spend the following week visiting friends and relatives at Alva. Aladdin (June 20) Mrs. Eva Richards returned from Washington, D.C. and is visiting at her daughter's, Mrs. Ben Miller and family. Margaret and Norman Ellsbury visited at the Miller home on Friday afternoon and Mr. and Mrs. Frankie Pearson and Mar- garet and Charles spent the eve- ning. The Kay Dungey family spent Friday evening at the John Whalen home. They moved their cattle to summer range on Saturday. Claudette Miller spent Saturday at home. Mary Hcjde and Leona Gels re- turned home on Friday night from Laramie where they had gone to the State Homemakers meeting. Neva Davis, Mazie Olds, Genevieve George and Kate Donaldson also went in the same car. They report a very fine meeting. Margaret Pearson went to Theta Rho practice Thursday night. Mr. and Mrs. Vane Cooke and Larry Svoboda were Monday din- ner guests at the Charles and Frankie Pearson home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pearson went to Belle Fourche Sunday night to spend two weeks. Claudice, Dorothy and Margaret took them down. Howard Robinson called at the Pearson home on Tuesday Chuck Pearson spent Monday night with Bill Whalen. Whalens moved their cattle to the forest on Tues- day. Pearsons took some cattle to the Vane Cook ranch on Wednes- day for summer pasture. John Whalen, Steve Gels and Kay Dun- Katherine Amos stayed with gey helped truck them over.
