Hutchinson, son of Drew and
Judy Hutchinson, Aladdin, WY
recently completed basic train-
ing at Recruit Training Com-
mend, Great Lakes, IL.
During the cycle, recruits are
taught general military subjects'
designed to prepare them for
further academic and on-the-Job
training in one of the Navy's 85
occupational fields.
Studies include seamanship,
close-order drill, naval history
and first aid.

The workshop was held at the
National Center for Community
Education (NCCE) in Flint. It is the
major training headquarters for
people Involved In community
education across the North
American continent and many
other parts of the world.
The training center is an integral
part of the community school/
education movement today. NCCE
Is uniquely qualified to promote
the development of community
education by offering leadership
training opportunities. Through
limited acceptance in the work-
shop particlpants.are able to galn
awareness, skills, and insights into
various phases of community
education.

and also a "no Bake" sale.
We will sell poppies again this
year at the fair parade. Ruth
Hlbbard is in charge of the pop-
ples. The poppies will be at Sharps'
Hardware the morning of the pa-
rade, Aug. 6. Anyone that can,
please come and helpl

holds meeting
The Inyan Kara Homemakers
Club met July 21 at Lottte Snyder's
home. There were five members
present. Roll call was answered by
reading articles about the flag.
The minutes were approved as
read. A thank you note was read
from Brad Wood. Thelma read a
letter on the impact of TV on chil-
dren. A letter was received from th~
state president on the By-laws and
the Constitution.
On Tuesday the 26th, the Inyan
Kara Club is preparing and serving
lunch for the 4-H Style Review. On
August 2 the fair starts, exhibits
are to be brought in early. Our club
Is to watch the hall on Wednesday
and Friday afternoons.
The next meeting will be held at
Thelma's home. Roll call will be
discussing the Crook County Fair.
There being no further business
the meeting was adjourned and
lunch was served.
