Page 14- Thursday, August 4, 2011 "WHERE THE KID GOT HIS NAME" Garman wins Overall Horse Showmanship at fair The Sundance limes I Peggy Sue Garman received several top honors at the Crook County Fair Horse Show held Saturday July 23 at Sundance. Peggy Sue with her Paint horse "Wrangler" won top honors for Intermediate 4-H Showmanship. She then with her black Quar- ter Horse "Begin A Legacy" received top honors in the FFA horse showmanship. Peggy Sue and "Begin" then competed for Overall Horse Showmanship and received first place in that competition as well. As the day progressed the pair also won several first place placings in the performance clasoes and at the end of the show received top honors for "Overall Performance Horse" as well. The pair won two belt buckles for showmanship, a nice assortment of tack throughout the day, and a trophy headstall for Overall Performance Horse. Peggy Sue plans to go to the Wyoming State Fair Youth Horse Show and represent the Bearlodge FFA Chapter with her horse Begin.
