Discussion was held. Stormy moved to approve a Restaurant Liquor License for Dale Jump Steak House contingent upon obtaining the food license. Steve seconded, all ayes, motion met as the County Board of Equalization at 4:45 o'clock p.m. was back in regular session at 5:35 o'clock p.m. approve the following tax rebate and cancellations: Big Basin Petroleum LLC $534.30(Rebate) Robed H. & Lynn T. "Stormy" Burch, Jr. and County Clerk Connie D. Tschetter. Jim Miller, Mayor, Town OF Sundance, discussed bading equipment. The Board will take it into consideration. County Treasurer Mary Kuhl and Clerk of District Court Tina Wood were present to go over items of interest within their departments, rlr Tina Wood, Clerk of District Court and Joe Baron, County Attorney, discussed month, rent for office space for the Sixth Judicial District Child Suppod Authority. Paul Pollat, Fire Warden and Cindy VanHom, Fire Warden Secretary, requested to purchase a real time lightening data system. The Board told them to submit a proposal this fall and they will apply for Forest Reserve T'dle III Funds. Gerald Mclnemey voiced his concerns on state or federal ownership and on public access across the Homestake property. Phil Neiman, Road and Bridge Supt., discussed road maintenance. Josh Jundt, Gillette Resident Engineer and D0ug .Ramsay, Sundance Sr. Engineer, Wyoming Department of Trans- portation, gave an update on the Pine Ridge County Road No. 205 project. Stormy moved to approve the Bond fof Mary R. Yemington, Treasurer, Crook County Library Board. Floyd vacated the chair and seconded the motion, all ayes, motion carried. Present to review final revised Rural Addressing Rules and Regulations were Joe Baron, County Attorney, Tim Lyons, Deputy County Assessor and Bvin Rush, Rural Addressing Coordinator. Stormy moved to approve the following resolution to adopt the Rural Addressing Rules and Regulattons dated August 5, 2003: RESOLUTION NO. 10-2003 CROOK RMRAL NX)RESSlNG RULES AND REGULATIONS WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners in and for Crook County wyoming approved the rural addressing system in 1980; and WHEREAS, various procedures to assign rural addresses have been set out by the Board and followed since the rural addressing map and system was Q'eated; and WHEREAS, there is a need to have a uniform set of rules to assign rural addressing and road names for the health, safety, and welfara of the citizens of Crook County; and . WHEREAS, roads within Crook County, whether public or private have different or confitcBng names and address numbers and a procedure is needed to clear up these disputes; and WHEREAS, the County Assessor's Office has been dealing with these issues for a number of years and the County Assessor has the mapping capabilities to deal with rural addressing; and WHEREAS, the Board is charged under State law with promoting the health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity and general welfare OF the present and future inhabitants of Crook County, Wyoming pursuant to W.S. 18- 5-201 ;and the management of County Roads pursuant to W. S. 24-1-104, W. S. 18-3-504, W. S. 31-5-303, and W. S. 31-18-802; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS IN AND FOR CROOK COUNTY, WYOMING, that the "Crook County Rural Addressing Rules and Regulations" are approved and adopted and that any rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures previously adopted and ln conflict with this Re- ludon are hereby resclnded end of no fudher force or offect; IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED and agreed to between the Board and the Crook County Assessor that the Crook County Assessors Office shall be appointed as the County Designee and assign rural addresses and road names pursu- ant to this Resolution which is hereby enacted for immediata implementation; and IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that County Road and Bridge Department shall start putting up County Road signs.
