They staked their hopes on milo all over that country and had darn few pheasants to bother it. They seem to plant milo like we plant sorghum and sudan- grass. After such a dry summer and getting that short shot of moisture any quick growing crop might have a chance o unless the frost gets it like it did the squash in my wife's garden (I wouldn't want to claim the weedy old thii~g~). I'm supposed to plant and weed it. She is supposed to pick and cook it. When it comes to weed- ing I'm reminded of the "Fix It" advertisement, "I can fix any- thing your 1husband can, but I'll fix it now!" Did you hear about the fellow with the bigger summer problem?
