Winners of the county fair sen. lot dress revue (I to r) -- Mar- |erie Ferrell, Susan Scoggin, Jeanne Semlek, Peggy Terhune. They will exhibit at the State Fair. Aug. 15 Got around an inch of rain again this week. The Lyle and Wayne Wolff ~amilies spent last Sunday at the Gust Wolff home helping move.a windmill. Lyle and Tom Wolff, Harvey Haidle and Mr. Redmond had dinner and sttpper at the Wolffs Sunday and worked on the windmill. Mr. and Mrs. El- mer Heetland and Mary Catherin Rails were last Sunday afternoon callers at Wolffs. ~ir. and Mrs. Pete Damon and her mother Luna Nickelson, Poc- asset, Oklahoma and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Morris and daughter, Ka~y, Chickasaha, Oklahoma were Wednesday-Friday visitors of the Ralph Nickelsons. The Don & Darrell Niekelsons joined them at the ranch Thursday even- ing for an evening of music and visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nlckelson have moved back to the ranch/or the winter. Mr. and ,Mrs. Gayle Weaver were supper guests at the Kay Dungeys Tuesday. ,Mr. and Mrs. Ed Osloond had dinner wit~ the Dungeys Wednesday. Mrs. Dun- gay eaUed at Pearsons Wednes- day afternoon. Other visitors of the Dungeys were ~Ir. and Mrs. Henry Pickerd and Howard, Lou Galaway, and Ruth Frolander and Gary Dungey. Visitors at .the Gary Brengles during the week ,were Oscar Lak- so, Jean Carlson, Jana and Faye, Claude Freeman, Mr. and Mrs. Al Couture and Frankie and Chuck Pearson. Elaine Olsen and child- ren spent Thursday - Friday at the Brengles. Visitors Sunday were the Ron and Bill Brengle families, the Lores Njos and Al- fred Gunderson families. Leslie, Monte and Gobi Rober- son spent the week with the Henry Pickerds. Callers during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jerrett, Sundance and father Charles, from Vermont and Anna- belle Stevens. Mrs. Pickerd, Nancy and Mrs. Frankie Pearson went to the funeral for Mrs. George Grenier Friday afternoon at Hulett. Mrs. John Moline accompanied Gladys Evans to Denver Sunday. She returned by plane Tuesday and brought her mother Lena Bunney home after a long stay under a doctors care. Mr. and Mrs. John Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Loren Bartlett had dinner with the Molines and-Lena Sun- day. Mrs. Moline and Mrs. Bun- nay visited John Bunneys Wed- nesday afternoon and at the Bill Sipes Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Bailey, Rene and Allen and Kay Countryman left July 27 and returned Aug. 15 from a trip which took them to Dayton, Ohio where they visited Mr. and Mrs. K. O. Sisson and family and to Hampton, Virginia where they visited Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Sisson and families. Both are sisters of Dean. They did a lot of sight seeing at both these placesl and at Gettysburg Penn- sylvania. The~ came home via Stanton, Minnesota where they visited friends and relatives and to Minneapolis where they visited the Paul Trench family and stopp- ed at Alpene, South Dakota with the Howard Peters family. They joined the family of Gordon Shoe- maker at the Gordon Shoemaker home for dinner and supper. They went to the Horse show in the afternoon.
