Lusk Tournament The Sundance-Hulett boys were on top again last week- end at Lusk, clearly winning by a great margin on both days of play. The girls came in fifth. Individually, Austin Pen- ning was second, Wyatt Sigel earned third, Logan Stefan- ich placed seventh and Colton Watt and Taylor Penning tied for ninth. The team heads to Wright this Friday for the State Toumament. For the first time in many years, we are working on a parade for Friday, October 2. The theme for the parade is "Red, White and Blue". We would like the community to get involved by building floats of their own. If you are interested in entering a float in the parade call Sundance High School, 307-283-1007, and the ladies in the office will add your entry to our line-up for the parade. Please have your entry into the office by Thursday, October 1. We will begin lining up for the parade in the school parking lot at 11:30 a.m. with the parade kicking off at noon. Even if you don't have the desire to build a float, please turn out on Friday to watch the parade and support the Bulldogs! Other homecoming events are as follows: Monday, September 28: Students will decorate their halls' during reading time, Community Pep Rally 6:30 p.m. in the gym, Coronation at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium followed by~ the Burning of the S. Junior High Football in Upton at 4 p.m., Junior Varsity Football against Wright at 4:30 p.m., Junior High Volleyball at home against Wright with games at 4 and 5 p.m. Dress up day is "What Are Those?" Day (Wacky day/Crocs day). Tuesday, September 29: Bulldog Olympics start at 1 p.m. Dress up day is Class Color Day, 7tu graders wear yellow, 8th graders wear orange, 9th graders wear purple, 10th graders wear red, 11th graders wear black and seniors wear blue. Wednesday, September 30: Todd Becker Foundation As- sembly 12:30 p.m. and public assembly at 7 p.m. Dress up day is Disney Character. Thursday, October 1: Elementary Pep Rally during Read- ing, High School Volleyball against Wright, first game at 4 p.m., Junior High Football against Lead at 4 p.m. and Junior High Volleyball at home, games start at 4 p.m. Dress up day" is Gender Swap Day. Friday, October 2 - High School Volleyball against Big Horn (2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m.) followed by a tailgating BBQ before the game in Upton, Pep Band plays for Varsity, Patriot Football in Upton against Lingle (7 p.m.). Dress up day is 'Merica Day. Other activities for the day include: 8 - 11 a.m.: Decorate Floats and work on Activity Day pre- sentation. 11 - 11:30 a.m.: Lunch (Mr. Hickman, Mr. Gonzales, Mr. Halverson, Mr. Hofland) . 11:30 a.m. - 12 p.m." Line up Parade (Mr. O'Connor & Mr. Benvenga) 12 p.m.: Parade with "Red, White and Blue" theme. JH Volleyball The JH Volleyball team won all of their games this past week- end at the Stateline Tournament held in Sundance.
