Friday she and Mrs. Willora Boden and Mrs. Allen Evans went to Rapid City to shop. Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Lappe, Dallas and Eileen, Mr. and Mrs. N. S. Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Clif- ton Clark of Red Lodge, Mont., were Thanksgiving dinner guests at the Charles Clark home at Spearfish. Those attending the show in Sun- dance Saturday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Pete Toth and girls, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Price and family, Pete Carlsen, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Apland and Toni Jean and Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Deranleau and Carl. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Madler and son spent Thanksgiving in Spear- fish. Bernard Madler spent the weekend with his brother Chas. and family. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Deranleau and Carl called at the Edwin Jones home Sunday. Leslie and Sandra Saari spent Thanksgiving vacation with their grandmother and aunt in Spear- fish. Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Lappe and Dallas and Eileen were Sun- dance callers Saturday evening. They spent Sunday at the N. S. Clark home. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Apland and family spent Thanksgiving in Belle Fourche. Reuben and Jack Necklason stopped in Moskee Saturday. They had been hunting. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Craig are now employed at the Earl Ike home near Hulett. Frankly Speaking This happened in a Kentucky mountain polling place but might have happened most anywhere. It just goes to show that a per- fectly l~gal-sounding little word may have different meanings. Any- way: "What party do you affiliate with?" the election clerk asked the mountain gal. "Have I gotta answer that?" she frowned. "If you want a ballot, you do." "Wa-al, then, I don't want no ballot, cause the party I affiliates With ain't divorced yet." Little Dorothy had been pray- ing for a baby sister. Her mother, while reading the paper, exclaim- ed: "I see Mrs. Smith has a little daughter." "How do you know that, mam- ma?" Dorothy inquired. "It says so in the paper, dear." "Read it to me." .Her mother read: "Born to Mr. and Mrs. Smith, a daughter." Dorothy thought a moment and THE SUNDANCE TIMES Sundance, Wyo.
