Sundance High School was the
site of the 2001 Sundance Bulldog
Invitational wrestling meet held
Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday,
Dec. I.
Although the Bulldogs made
some good moves, they ended up
near the bottom of the heap with a
team score of 22.0. Bumped from
the champiormhip finals in the first
'two Bulldogs made
the consolation round.
Aberle, weight 125, was de-
feated by Troy Berry, Sturgis, with
a ~ in 2.45 minutes. Nate Corean,
weight 152, fell to Colby Larson,
Rapid City Stevens, in 2.47 min-
utes.
Hulett Red Devils racked up a
team scorenf 49.0 points for sev-
enth place. Bennie Singleton,
weight 160, and Danny Lee, weight
171, defeated both their opponents
in the consolation. Chris Bears,
weight 130, made it into champi-
pinned
Moorcroft took eighth place, scor-
ing 47.0 points. Justin Heather
was defeated in the championship
match by Mike Sneezby, Lead, in
the 125-pound class. Cody Traylor
